Modern age: Solusians migrate north into the Rift, settling the south Goblins begin to expand from the Burning Hills Solusian ancestors unite the races (Solusian, elf, dwarf, halfling) Solusian wizard-cult (Wizardspire) wipes out the goblins, forming the burning hills. Goblin Fever strikes the valley in epic proportions. Wizardspire, always seen in dim light, is blamed for the rapid spread. The Temple of the Sun, in cooperation with “the kings of Solus,” organises healing of the ailing. Kleindiek flee the King of Winter and land in Lake Ostrel
